I have been involved in tennis for as long as I can remember, and I am delighted to be working in an environment which combines my background in management and love of tennis. I played competitively as a junior and was fortunate enough to attend the IMG Bollettieri Tennis Academy in Florida, before going on to play college tennis in North Carolina.
After returning from America, I completed a master’s in Business and Sport Management and I have since worked in accounting, as well as in administration and coaching in various clubs in Northern Ireland.
I am proud to have been a part of the team of staff, committee and members who over the last 12 months have brought about exciting projects to the club including renovating the bar and installing 3 new artificial clay courts. I am looking forward to continuing to work with the Malahide staff, members and committee to help maximise the club’s potential in the coming years!
I started work in MLTCC in April 2022. It is a pleasure to work in an environment that revolves around people and sport, tennis in particular. I live locally in Portmarnock and am a member of Portmarnock tennis club where I have been Lady Captain and have had many enjoyable occasions over the years playing socially and competitively (!) with and against Malahide members. I play every league going and also enjoy lots of friendlies.
MLTCC is a really busy and vibrant Club and I have really enjoyed being part of all that goes on, on a day to day basis, as well as seeing exciting developments such as the new clay courts and the Malahide Senior Open as just some of the many highlights. I’ve really enjoyed meeting so many members and I look forward to working with David, the coaches, the management committee and members in to the future.
